Baltimore Soccer Club is proud to announce its partnership with National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI), through which we will engage in a comprehensive Background Screening program for our coaches and volunteers.

Baltimore Soccer Club has worked with National Center for Safety Initiatives to ensure that this process is convenient, secure and confidential.

To begin, simply go to http://www.ncsisafe.com and click on “Background Check Self Registration” on the left side of the webpage.

Then complete four easy steps:

Step 1: Enter Self Registration Number: 64497871
Step 2: Enter Your Information as Requested
Step 3: Provide Legal Authorization and Certification and payment ($21.25 payable by Credit Card)
Step 4: Check regularly (your email and the NCSI website) for the status of your background check or follow up questions they may have. It takes approximately ten days to complete.

An email address is required when completing the background check as NCSI's contact with you will largely be electronic.

It is important when entering your name, that you use your full legal name as written on your birth certificate or driver’s license. Please also verify that your social security number was typed correctly. Using nicknames or failing to type a correct social security number may delay or invalidate your background check.

No one at Baltimore Soccer Club is privy to the personal information you enter. The process can take up to 2 weeks, but generally takes 6-7 business days.

If for some reason something in your background is flagged for further review, any specific information will remain between yourself and NCSI unless you wish to share it in order to discuss options.
